Excited to be meeting people again!
We had our first in person event, and this was at Queen Mary's College, Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK!
It was fun, yet strange. We'll be speaking about that a bit later on in this news letter but..... We are on the search for an opening act!
16th of October, 2021 we are playing South Hill Park, Bracknell as one of our tour venues and are on the hunt for an opening act. What are we looking for?
An original act in terms of their approach to music; In other words, we love you as you are! That said, you don't have to have written a lot of original songs, all we want is an original approach to music!
Your slot at the show will be betwen 15 to 20 minutes and we will cover your travel cost!
All you need to do is email us at petra@iambrjames.co.uk with one or two links of you/your act or band performing a live song!
We'd rather a raw live recording over a studio produced track and this could be the beginning of some nice venues you'll get to play in your music career!
We suggest you email before the 7th of August as we hope to have made a decision by the 10th!
Back to our Queen Mary College event!
We were absolutely thrilled to have been given the opportunity to speak with the Music and Performing Arts Students at the College. Alongside a talk on consistency, BR played a few songs. We have a recording from the session available here
BR plans on releasing one more song this year, hoping for a November/December release! We'll keep you posted on progress.... We've however thought to ask; If you could have a say on the next single, would you like it:
1) With BR and just the piano
2) As a slow groove, downtempo song
3) Uptempo and high energy
4) Uptempo and fun
5) In collaboration with a another male artist
6) In collaboration with a female artist
