Plans, Gigs and Art ..... You hear them first!
We are getting ready for BR's first gig of 2021, and yes it will be virtual!
Happening on BBC radios Sussex and Surrey, "Lock Down Live with BR James". You'll hear a short set from BR, singing some of your favorites by him!
Tune in on 104.5, 104.8 & 95.0–95.3 FM and on DAB for BBC radio Sussex and 104 and 104.6 FM, and on DAB for BBC radio Surrey. Taking place on Sunday the 2nd of May, 2021, 5:30 - 6pm (UK time). You can also listen live via the internet on BBC Sussex's website, as well as BBC Surrey's. We have as part of our set list "Keep Moving" a song BR feels is very relevant for the time. Soul Tracks are writing a "first listen" review for BR's soon to be released song "I'll be that Friend"!
We are really pleased to have Soul tracks do a write up on this song. We are especially excited about this as they are highly sought after, having lots of submissions a day! We are looking forward to what they have to say and will be notifying you first once we have the live link!
BR is currently planning a "One Race" event in an attempt to bring racial healing.
This would be a heart felt podcast aimed at anyone that has been affected by racism or just want to hear a balanced view point with no blame. "We have to heal and move on" say's BR. We will include more information in the coming months.
